Adobe Spark could be the answer to startup, small-business marketing woes

US-based software giant Adobe has announced the immediate availability of Adobe Spark, an integrated web and mobile solution for creating visual stories. Free and designed for everyday communications, Adobe Spark is part of the Creative Cloud ecosystem. The platform's three mobile apps-Spark Post, Spark Page and Spark Video-each offer one of these creation tools for users on iOS.

Today, anyone can create content and share it via social media, but most people lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter.

In addition to the app, Adobe has launched a Spark Blog to compliment the program with a slew of articles already published to the site.

Just like with Adobe's storytelling apps for iOS - Voice, Slate, and Post - Adobe Spark is focused on letting anyone create visually rich content with various types of media.

Spark is targeted to all consumers: small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, students, volunteers with causes, and professionals seeking to boost their careers and personal brands.

The mobile apps are format specific: Spark Post is still used to create images and graphics that are optimized for social media.

All in all, Adobe Spark is a web application with companion mobile apps getting all of Adobe's best visual content creation tools online, in a minified format.

Video allows equips users to create animated videos in minutes and includes a feature lets users overlay their voices on top of images.

Adobe has also collaborated with Facebook Blueprint - a new global education and certification programme to help agencies and advertisers achieve their business results through marketing on Facebook and Instagram platforms. The company will provide tutorials on the platform on how to successfully market themselves on the Facebook and Instagram platforms using Adobe Spark. That also makes it easier to find which tool you need for the job at hand, as you don't have to remember all the tools' different names - just "Spark".

Spark is also partnering with Change.org, the social change platform, to co-create training materials for petitioners and change agents.

Adobe Spark is available for free at Spark.

You do need to sign into an Adobe ID account or create one, or use a Facebook or Google login, but you don't have to pay for the service. Adobe.com. Paid versions will be available in the future.
